Ride Inside a Porsche 919 Hybrid as it Laps Le Mans

This new 360-degree video might be as close as you can get to the action in Le Mans. 

This weekend is the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race and Porsche is looking to defend last year’s victory. To get everyone excited, the German automaker has shared a 360-degree video, allowing you to ride along with 2016 Le Mans winner Marc Lieb on the Circuit de la Sarthe, the famous racetrack for the 24-hour race. Throughout the video, Lieb provides voice over commentary, detailing what it’s like to pilot the Porsche 919 Hybrid at the race.

Look for Toyota to redeem itself after last year’s Le Mans race, when it came so close to victory before a car failure snatched it away. Toyota’s new TS050 Hybrid is actually leading both the Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ championships as the teams head into the third race of the 2017 World Endurance Championship (WEC).
