Well, Now We Wish Suzuki Was Still Sold in North America

Come back Suzuki, we miss you.

Nearly five years ago, the Japanese brand announced its exit from the North American automotive market, and for many, Suzuki hasn’t been missed. But now the Japanese automaker has previewed this upcoming concept and we’re admittedly a little bummed that if it heads to production, we don’t get to play with it. Called the e-Survivor, Suzuki says it previews a future compact SUV “toward the next 100 years.”

The concept blends the automaker’s Jimmy and Vitara models into a stylish off-roader boasting a four-wheel-drive electric powertrain. It’s built on a truck-style ladder frame, making it a true SUV and not a car-based crossover.

Other details on the concept are scarce at the moment, but expect more once it makes it debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
