The Paint on this Porsche Costs More Than a Porsche

The color of the Porsche 911 Turbo you see here is called Phyton Green Chromaflair and its costs nearly $100,000.

Posted on social media, the Porsche 991.2 Turbo S featuring the paint was showcased at the upcoming AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nurburgring this past weekend. According to Instagram user @killsbugsfast, the paint is one of five examples produced each year and there are different shades of Chromaflair available including blue, gold, and violet. But what makes it even crazier is how much it costs, with another Instagram user grabbing a photo of the options on the car. The paint? A cool €82,645 that converts to $97,318. That’s enough to buy you a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera.

The options on this particular car total over €107,000 ($126,083) – enough to get you behind the wheel of a brand new 911 Carrera GTS. Spring a little more and you could buy a Porsche 911 GT3 for the amount spent on the options found on the display car.

A PTSRS Exclusive: This paint to sample Phyton Green “Chromaflair” 991.2 Turbo S will be the show car for Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur at the upcoming AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix this weekend at the Nürburgring. According to @killsbugsfast who saw this car in person, this is one of several “Chromaflair” paints for which only five examples are produced per year, and is priced close to six figures. There are also blue, gold, and violet versions of “Chromaflair”, with the violet example having been displayed before in Zuffenhausen. Much thanks to @minimaldigital for the shot.
