Driving a Formula 1 car has always been a rarefied experience limited to only the hottest of shoes and the absurdly wealthy.
But maybe you’ve got stacks and status and nothing would make you happier than spending an undisclosed amount of money purchasing a race winning F1 car from the modern era – what do you do? Why you call Mercedes-AMG, of course.
A few years back the automaker launched All Time Stars, a program which it uses to sell historic cars from the corporate museum in Stuttgart, and Lewis Hamilton’s 2013 W04 is the latest gem to come up for sale.

Hamilton put this exact car on pole position before going on to take the race win during the 2013 Hungarian Grand Prix, his first win for Mercedes-AMG after joining the team from McLaren.
The car would go on to secure four more podium finishes en route to Hamilton’s fourth place finish in the Driver’s Championship.
The W04 has the distinction of being from the end of the 2.4-liter V8 era, meaning it still makes all the screaming sounds Formula 1 cars should make, from an engine that spins to an absurd 18,000 rpm and kicks out 830 horsepower. It’s unclear if Mercedes has left the Kinetic Energy Recovery System installed or not.
Mercedes says they’ll only provide a price for this piece of F1 history on request, but if you have to ask..
