Ferrari J50 Takes Top Honors in Coveted Red Dot Design Awards

The Ferrari J50 has taken the highly coveted Best of the Best distinction in the Red Dot Design Awards, marking the third consecutive year Ferrari has been recognized by the Red Dot jury.

Ferrari was handed the award during a special ceremony at the Aalto Theater in the stylish German city of Essen. In addition to the J50 receiving the highest possible honors for Product Design, the international jury also recognized the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, 458MM Speciale and LaFerrari Aperta for their exceptionally high design quality and bold originality.

The J50 is based on the Ferrari 488 GTB and was built to mark Ferrari’s 50th anniversary in Japan. It was penned by the in-house Ferrari Design team under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, with the Italian automaker describing its design as “radically futuristic.” It will be limited to just 10 units, all of which are reserved for Japan.
