Kia Stinger With 3.3L V6 and AWD Priced From $47K in Canada

The Kia Stinger with the 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 and all-wheel drive has been priced from $47,000 in Canada.

Unlike in surrounding markets, the Stinger will only be offered with the 3.3-liter V6 and all-wheel drive in Canada. The sports sedan was touted as also being available in RWD V6 and RWD 2.0-liter formats when it was unveiled earlier this year, however rear-wheel drive and four-cylinder Stinger variants won’t be offered to Canadian buyers.

In Canada, the AWD V6 Stinger GT will start at ” under $47,000″ and will come well-equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin performance tires, Brembo brakes, LED bi-function headlamps, a power liftgate and power sunroof, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, cruise control, rear parking sensors, 12-way adjustable power seats with leather upholstery, automatic climate control, a 7-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 9-speaker audio system, among more.

A step up to the Stinger GT Limited, which starts at ” under $52,000″, will add Nappa leather, electronic seat bolster adjust, cooled front seats, heated rear seats, driver cushion extension, rain sensing wipers, an 8-inch infotainment display, 360-degree camera monitoring, lane keep assist, a heads-up display, a 7-inch TFT driver’s display, a wireless phone charger and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

Buyers will have a choice between carbon fiber dash trim or aluminum dash trim. On GT models, only a black leather interior will be offered, while the Nappa leather interior of GT Limited cars will be offered in black or red. Six exterior colors will be available from launch: Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black, Thunder Grey, California Red, Ghost Grey and Atomic Blue.

Canadian customers can place an order for the 2018 Kia Stinger immediately. The automaker says the car will arrive “later this winter.” US pricing has yet to be announced, however the Canadian MSRP should give American buyers a pretty good idea of what to expect from the new sports sedan price wise.
