The Kia Stinger will be the centerpiece of the Korean automaker’s display at the 2017 SEMA Show, with two heavily modified versions of the mid-size sedan set to be presented in Vegas this week.
The more radical of the two Stinger-based concepts is the Stinger GT Wide Body. The concept, which was teased earlier this month, was created by of Pimp My Ride fame. It features a fat widebody kit, lowered suspension, 21-inch Keen forged wheels, a lightweight carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser and sporty quad exhaust tips. Inside the concept features blue leather seat piping, a hand-stitched grey dash panel and an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel.
To be presented alongside the Stinger GT Wide Body is the Stinger GT Federation. It’s meant to mark Kia’s foray into making aftermarket parts available for purchase through suppliers and as such, features a variety of aftermarket parts that will be available to for customers to purchase. These include a K&N cold-air intake, a low-restriction Borla exhaust, Eibach springs, thicker antiroll bars, lowered suspension and 20-inch TSW wheels shod in performance Falken rubber. The exhaust system has also resulted in a 15 hp boost in output, bringing the Stinger’s output to a healthy 380 horsepower.

Rounding out Kia’s SEMA concepts this year is the Cadenza Obsidian. This creation was also completed by and features lowered suspension with stiffened springs, 20-inch gloss black Keen wheels with copper trim and copper exterior trim. The luxury treatment continues inside with a hand-stitched suede dashboard panel, brown leather seats with suede inserts, suede door panels and a 630-watt Harmon Kardon audio system.
All three Kia concepts will be on display at SEMA until November 3rd.
