Audi has released its 2016 Super Bowl commercial, featuring the R8 supercar.
The spot tells the story of a retired astronaut who rediscovers the excitement of life thanks a drive in a new R8. The commercial is backed by David Bowie’s , a fitting tribute to the recently deceased musician.
The 2017 R8 is capable of a 205 mph top speed with a 3.2-second 0-60 mph run.

Competing for attention against the R8 will be the Acura NSX, the only other supercar that will be pushed during the big game.
This year’s Super Bowl will take place on February 7 in Santa Clara, California, where the Carolina Panthers will play the Denver Broncos.
