These High-Mileage Deals May Have Lots of Miles Left

CARS.COM — If you're on the hunt for reliable transportation with a budget-friendly price, you might want to consider some of the vehicles on the recent list we gave you of vehicles most likely to roll past 200,000 miles.

While most cars and SUVs these days are more durable and people are keeping them longer (averaging 11.6 years), these vehicles have proven to be true long-distance runners. And a check of Cars.com for these vehicles shows some can be had at a good price.

If you avoid one in good shape because it's clocked, say, 100,000 miles, you may miss out on a vehicle with more than half its useful miles still ahead. While many in the 200K club are thirstier pickup trucks and SUVs, you get lots of practical space, and you can buy a lot of gas over time for what you save upfront on the purchase price. And there are a couple of sedans on the list as well.

Here is a look at vehicles on the 200,000-mile roll and deals being offered today in Cars.com's thousands of listings for versions of them model-year 2000 or newer with around 100,000 miles on the odometer (all prices include destination).
