Volkswagen Atlas, Tiguan Get Segment-Best Warranty

Volkswagen Atlas, Tiguan Get Segment-Best Warranty

With the Atlas hitting dealerships in May and the new Tiguan not far behind it, Volkswagen is ready to announce that both cars will be sold with a 72,000-mile/six-year, transferable warranty.

That means that if you buy a second-hand Tiguan or Atlas that has done fewer than 72,000 miles within the next six years, you can still benefit from the warranty that was purchased when the vehicle was new.

“We specifically designed and built the all-new Atlas and Tiguan for American customers. This warranty further addresses the needs of American buyers head-on,” said Hinrich Woebcken, Volkswagen Group of America president. “We’re confident in the reliability and workmanship of these SUVs, and we want our customers to be confident in their purchase. We believe this warranty will lead to reduced cost of ownership for Volkswagen owners.”

2018 Volkswagen Atlas Review

The warranty outperforms the Tiguan and the Atlas’s competition, most of whom offer only a 60,000-mile/five-year, non-transferable warranty.
