Toyota is Finally Updating One of its Oldest Models

Toyota‘s presence at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show will be headlined by the world premiere of the new Land Cruiser.

The SUV as we know it has been in existence for a decade, so it’s about time it gets updated. The new Land Cruiser will continue to be body-on-frame, making it one of the few remaining “real” SUVs today.

The Japanese automaker will also show off the C-HR Hy-Power Concept, which is a design study developed by the company’s European Design Center. Along with a teaser image of the crossover’s front end, Toyota said the concept will “emphasize C-HR’s emotional and powerful look while hinting at future expansion of Toyota’s hybrid powertrain lineup within its core models.”

Joining the new Land Cruiser and C-HR Hy-Power Concept will be the Yaris GRMN hot hatch and the new Auris Touring Sport Freestyle, two models that aren’t sold in North America.
