The Millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata is Making Its Final Stop in the US

Those heading to the 2016 L.A. Auto Show will get one last chance to sign the one-millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata.

The milestone roadster has been making its way around North America and the rest of the world throughout much of this year and will make its 20th and final stop in the U.S. in Los Angeles next week. The Miata will be on display in the Ride & Drive area outside the Los Angeles Convention Center and those who register to test drive Mazda vehicles on public days will have the opportunity to sign the car. There’s a limited number of spots left, with signing available during normal auto show hours until all signature sports are filled, minus the 1,920 spots being reserved for the Miata’s final tour stops in Australia and New Zealand.

During its North American tour, enthusiasts have filled approximately 4,000 signature spots on the millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata. The car has traveled 14,607 miles in North America, including to the L.A. Auto Show. Following its appearance in New Zealand next February, the special car will be on permanent exhibit in the Mazda Museum in Hiroshima, Japan.
