The final LaFerrari ever built is headed to auction, with proceeds going to support the rebuild effort after last year’s devastating earthquake in central Italy.
Only 499 of these hypercars were originally planned, but Ferrari will make one more to help the citizens of Italy affected by the earthquake. The car will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali weekend at Daytona International Speedway.
If the 949 horsepower hybrid hypercar isn’t already special enough, this car will have a unique livery and interior. A special commemoration plaque will also be fitted inside the LaFerrari.

“The earthquakes which have struck Central Italy this year devastated the lives of thousands of people, and the money raised by the sale of this one-of-a-kind, and final, LaFerrari, could not be put to a better use,” said Rob Myers, CEO and chairman of RM Sotheby’s. “The auction will be an historic event, and the generosity of Ferrari SpA will change lives in the areas most affected by the natural disaster.”
The auction will go on December 3 of this year. Considering the LaFerrari sold for $1.5 million brand new, this car should go for considerably more than that.
