Porsche Panamera, Cayenne Recalled for Possible Engine Stalling

Select Porsche Cayenne and Panamera models are being recalled for a possible engine stalling issue.

Affected vehicles include 2010-2012 Porsche Panamera S, Panamera 4S, and Panamera Turbo models, along with 2011-2012 Panamera and Panamera 4 units. Affected Porsche Cayenne vehicles are from the 2011 model year and include the Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo models. According to the recall notice, affected vehicles have camshaft controllers that may come loose inside the engine possibly resulting in an engine stall that could increase the risk of a crash.

To resolve the issue, Porsche dealerships will replace the fastening screws for the camshaft adjusters for free. The recall campaign affects nearly 18,000 vehicles in the U.S.
