Porsche 911 GT2 RS Spied Testing in its Natural Habitat

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is getting close to production.

Spy photographers have caught the hardcore Porsche 911 variant testing on the Nurburgring, as well as the streets close by. The prototype is now sporting the correct front bumper, although it still has a little bit of camouflage on the outer ends. For the first time, we can see the air ducts on the hood that will not only help the cooling system but also generate more downforce to keep the GT2 RS stuck on the track.

Out back we can see the production tail lights as well as large exhaust tips. Unfortunately, the new rear bumper and diffuser are still hiding underneath a bit of camouflage. Our spy photographers also say that the rear spoiler being used right now is for testing purposes only, and we should see a different design on the production model.
