Maserati Embraces the Dark Side with Special Edition Ghibli

It’s called the Maserati Ghibli Nerissimo and and it’s been unveiled at the 2017 New York Auto Show.

Limited to 450 units strictly produced for U.S. and Canada, the Maserati Ghibli Nerissimo Edition gets its name based on the Italian expression for “extremely black.” The special model will be available as Ghibli, Ghibli S and Ghibli S Q4 and includes Glossy Black 20-inch Urano wheels, black door handles, black window trim, black grille and red brake calipers on the exterior. Inside the cabin, the sedan gets an extended leather interior with red stitching and gear-shift paddles, INOX sport pedals, Dark Mirror interior trim, Sport seats and a Sport steering wheel.

All models also come standard with blind spot assist, front and rear parking sensors and remote start, while the Ghibli S and S Q4 versions of the Nerissimo receive Harman Kardon stereo systems. Each vehicle sports a badge on the center console to highlight its limited production.

2017 New York Auto Show Coverage

On display in New York is the Ghibli S Q4 Nerissimo, sporting 404 horsepower from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Pricing for the Maserati Ghibli Nerissimo will start from $77,250 excluding destination, a premium of $5,650 compared to the standard model. The Ghibli S is priced at $84,000 while the Ghibli S Q4 is $86,500.
