Lamborghini Concept S Fetches 'Just' $1.32M at Auction

All things considered, the $1.32M sale price of the Lamborghini Concept S is a bit disappointing for a one-off Lamborghini.

During Monterey Car Week, hundreds of millions of dollars worth of cars are auctioned off, with many making headlines for ridiculous sums like the first McLaren F1 in the U.S. fetching over $15 million. But the one-off Lamborghini Concept S, with just 112 miles on the odometer, didn’t exactly shine compared to its counterparts at Monterey. But at least this time it managed to sell, as the last time it crossed the auction block in New York it failed to reach the unknown reserve.

To put it all into perspective, the first production Acura NSX sold for $1.2 million at an auction, and that’s a car you’ll likely see on the road in your life. But considering this car is one-of-one, it should hold its value going forward and maybe even make the buyer a little bit of money if they decide to resell in 15 or 20 years.
