Japanese car designer Ken Okuyama, who penned the stunning Ferrari Enzo, will debut a new supercar this Friday.
The car, which is called the ‘Kode 0-Zero’, will be shown at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California. It’s described by Ken and company as a “one-off, V12 mid-engine supercar” with a carbon fiber monocoque. The supercar will likely be based on an existing vehicle seeing as Okuyama Design is “Japan’s only carrozzeria” – that’s coachbuilder to us English folk.

The teaser images show an angular, modern-looking vehicle with a wedge-like front end and large rear quarter panel intakes. Vertically-mounted, futuristic-looking LED headlamps can also be seen along with rear flying buttresses that may remind you of the Ford GT’s.
Interestingly, 2017 marks the 15th anniversary of the introduction of Okuyama’s Enzo. Seeing as the Kode 0-zero will be a V12 supercar with a carbon fiber monocoque, we’re thinking it could be based on the Enzo. We’re just guessing though – we’ll have to wait until Friday to see what the former Pininfarina head designer has up his sleeve.
