The annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas isn’t just about all the latest toys for current-generation vehicles.
It’s really a celebration of building project cars and showing the world what can be achieved with the aftermarket, and classic restoration projects are a big part of that. ICON will be heading to Las Vegas this year with four stunning creations that classic automobile lovers will want to check out.
There’s an “old school” Toyota FJ40 that looks stealthily stock to the casual observer. But under the hood, there’s a 2.8-liter Cummins diesel crate engine, while the interior has been upgraded with elephant-embossed top-grain leather while retaining the style of the original vehicle.

Joining the FJ40 project is a 1958 Derelict Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud that has been patina’d and preserved on the outside, but has modern touches thanks to a custom Art Morrison chassis and a 550-horsepower LS7 engine.
For the pickup truck enthusiast, there’s a 1965 Ford Crew Cab project that started its life as a rare four-door fleet-only offering. The body was reworked by ICON for modern panel-gap tolerances, while a modern Cummins Ram rolling chassis was configured to fit the cab and bed.
The fourth vehicle is ICON’s take on an early Bronco, and enthusiasts can check out the modern classic at the SEMA Action Network display starting tomorrow.
