CARS.COM — Hyundai has lowered prices on the 2018 Santa Fe Sport mid-size SUV and added 2.4-liter Value models with standard features that were optional on the base models for 2017. Price cuts range from $295 on the front-wheel-drive Santa Fe Sport 2.0T model (to $32,300) to $995 on the all-wheel-drive 2.0T Ultimate (to $38,150). The front-drive Ultimate is $795 less at $36,600 (all prices include destination).

The base 2018 Sport 2.4 model starts at $25,900 with FWD ($345 less than a 2017) and at $27,450 with AWD ($545 less). The new Sport 2.4 Value model starts at $27,800 with FWD and $29,350 with AWD. Standard equipment includes what was the $1,500 Value Package for 2017: dual heated mirrors with turn indicators, a proximity key with push-button start, a 7-inch audio display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Blue Link telematics system, heated front seats, LED running lights and other features.
The 2018 five-occupant 2018 Santa Fe Sport is on sale now, and Hyundai says changes and pricing for the larger, seven-occupant Santa Fe will be released in "early summer," probably during July.
One change for 2018 that will apply to both body styles is that models with Blue Link will get a suite of free services for three years. Previously, owners received one year of free Connected Care and three months of free Remote and Guidance services, with a monthly subscription fee of $99 after the free trial. Hyundai announced the expanded Blue Link service at the New York International Auto Show in April. In addition, owners will get three years of free updates of navigation maps that can be downloaded from Hyundai's website.
With a lineup stacked with more cars than SUVs, Hyundai's total sales are down around 5 percent through the first five months of calendar 2017. The Santa Fe lineup, though, has been a bright spot, with sales up 21 percent through May.
