BMW Z4 Prototype Sheds Some Camo for the Camera

BMW Z4 Prototype Sheds Some Camo for the Camera

The BMW Z4 has been spied again, and while it’s not much different than the last time it was caught testing, we do get a better view of the front end.

The BMW Z4 continues to be a bit camera shy, as the German automaker wants to show very little of its next-generation roadster before it debuts. But it has shed a little bit of its camouflage up front, giving us a better look at the air intakes, front grille, and overall front fascia. The rest of the camouflage on the prototype however, looks to be the same as the last time spy photographers caught the roadster testing.

While very few details have been confirmed about the new BMW Z4, we do know that it will ride on a sports car platform that was co-developed with Toyota. Toyota will use the platform to underpin its new Supra successor. The new platform should shed weight compared to the existing BMW Z4, along with the use of a soft-top instead of a hardtop.

Expect to see the BMW Z4 bow before the end of this year, as it is should arrive dealerships in 2018.
