BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Spied for the First Time

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Spied for the First Time

You can look for a BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe to arrive sometime before 2020.

Rumors of a BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe model surfaced in 2015 and now we have our first look at the upcoming sedan. Designed to bridge the gap between the existing 1 Series and 3 Series sedans, the 2 Series Gran Coupe measures approximately 14.8 feet (4.5 meters). That makes it roughly the same length as the current 2 Series Gran Tourer. But unlike the Gran Tourer, the Gran Coupe is a sleek four-door coupe, more like a traditional sedan.

To ensure the 2 Series Gran Coupe separates itself from the larger 3 Series sedan, the model will be front-wheel drive, but xDrive all-wheel drive will be available as an option. Expect a wide range of three- and four-cylinder engines to be lurking under the hood. It’s likely no six-cylinder engines will be offered on the compact sedan.
