Aston Martin Valkyrie Owners Will be 3D Scanned to Make the Driver Seat

Aston Martin is taking personalization to a whole new level with its Valkyrie hypercar.

Although Aston Martin has remained relatively quiet on exact specifications of the Valkyrie, we know it’s going to be one of the craziest cars to ever hit the market. It features a lightweight carbon fiber tub and a naturally aspirated V12 engine to give it a power-to-weight ratio of 1:1 along with F1-inspired technology. Reports say the Aston Martin Valkyrie will be capable of revving up to 11,000 rpm and horsepower will be over 1,000. And you can probably tell by its design that it will be very aerodynamic.

But the latest tidbit of information to be revealed is that buyers will have to get a 3D scan of their body so that the driver’s seat can be custom made to fit. There are obvious perks to that of course, which likely ensures the driver’s seat is as comfortable as possible in the hypercar. But that also means the owner will have to watch their figure since gaining a few pounds might suddenly make driving the Valkyrie uncomfortable.

Then again, if you can afford the Aston Martin Valkyrie, there’s a strong possibility you can pay Aston Martin to make you a new seat if you decide you can no longer fit in the first one.
