Almost 6,000 Ford Mustangs Recalled for Faulty Door Springs

Approximately 5,470 Ford Mustangs are being recalled in the U.S.

According to the American automaker, the affected 2017 Ford Mustang sports cars have a misoriented return spring on the left door handle, which could cause the door to unlatch in the event of a side impact crash. The affected vehicles were built at Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant between January 13 to 31, 2017, and the company is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.
