2019 Cadillac CT6 Spied Testing with Escala-Inspired Styling

Cadillac is giving its CT6 sedan a facelift.

Likely making its debut next year as a 2019 model, the Cadillac CT6 has been spied testing in Southern Europe and although it’s heavily camouflaged, it appears it’ll receive Escala-influenced styling. The Cadillac Escala Concept made its debut last year, and it was quickly reported the concept wouldn’t head to production anytime soon. Instead, the American automaker is taking the positive feedback and applying it to existing models.

The sedan is likely to receive a larger front grille and slimmer headlights, although they won’t be as subtle as the units found on the Escala Concept. Expect to see a bold new front fascia as well, while the rear end will get minor changes.

The current engines will live on, but rumor has it a high-performance twin-turbo V8 is in the works. A diesel engine could also join the lineup for international markets.
