2018 Porsche Cayenne Smiles for the Camera Wearing All White

The latest 2018 Porsche Cayenne prototype has been spied pretty much baring it all.

Like the previous test car spy photographers caught on camera, the Porsche Cayenne is on public roadways wearing little camouflage. The new SUV is still concealing its headlights and tail lights, but now that it’s sporting a white paint job, it’s easier to see all the details. Like most of Porsche’s models, the Cayenne won’t get any significant aesthetic changes, but it is riding on the same platform introduced on the 2017 Audi Q7. So expect it to offer improved driving dynamics, fuel efficiency, and performance since the platform is lighter and has improved rigidity thanks to high-strength steel, aluminum and carbon fiber.

The new Porsche Cayenne is expected to weigh as much as 220 pounds less than its predecessor. As for exterior changes, the new Cayenne gets a bit of influence from its sibling, the Macan. The wraparound tail lights will be used along with the Macan’s clamshell hood.

Powertrains will likely resemble what’s currently being offered, and expect Porsche to focus on a couple of hybrid versions just like on the new Panamera.
