It features the first-ever standard Intelligent Rear View Mirror.
The all-new, second-generation Nissan Armada was introduced for the 2017 model year, so there aren’t any significant changes for 2018. The SUV however, does introduce the Japanese automaker’s new Intelligent Rear View Mirror as standard, which uses a high-resolution camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle to project a clear image onto an LCD monitor built into the standard rearview mirror. There’s a switch conveniently located at the bottom of the mirror which allows the driver to access either the traditional rearview mirror, or the new Intelligent Rear View Mirror.
According to Nissan, the 2018 Armada is the first to offer the technology in the full-size, non-luxury SUV segment. Benefits to the Intelligent Rear View Mirror include “removing” interior obstacles such as cargo and rear headrests, improving visibility in low-light conditions, reducing glare, and providing an expanded field of view.

Powered by a 5.6-liter V8 engine, the 2018 Nissan Armada offers 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque and is available in 2WD or 4WD configurations. The Armada 4×2 SV model is priced from $46,795 including destination, while 4WD will cost $2,900 additional on all trims. The 4×2 SL starts from $51,545 and at the top of the range is the Platinum trim with a starting price of $59,885.
Available packages include the Cargo Package ($225), Driver Package ($600), Interior Lighting Package ($330), Premium Package ($2,200), and Captain Seat Package ($450). Options include Pearl White paint ($395), roof rail cross bars ($375), carpeted floor mats ($310), illuminated kick plates ($365), and welcome lighting ($375).
