2018 Honda Odyssey Gets Minor Price Increase

The all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey starts from $30,890 including destination.

The new minivan heads to dealerships tomorrow, powered by a new 3.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine that has 32 horsepower and 12 pound-feet of torque more than before. The powerplant is paired to a new nine-speed transmission, while there is also an available 10-speed automatic transmission with standard paddle shifters on the Odyssey Touring and Odyssey Elite models. Total power output is 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque and the minivan returns up to 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway for a 22-mpg combined rating.

The 2018 Honda Odyssey EX model has a starting price of $34,760 and adds 18-inch wheels and tires, Magic Slide second-row seats, Honda Sensing, Blind Spot Information (BSI), new Display Audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, SiriusXM satellite radio, CabinControl app, auto high beams, and more. Priced from $38,260 is the Odyssey EX-L that adds a CabinTalk in-car PA system along with leather seating surfaces, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power tailgate, two-position memory driver’s seat, moonroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror, Homelink remote, and two additional USB charging ports.

New to the 2018 Honda Odyssey EX-L Navi Res model is a rear seat entertainment system with Blu-Ray and streaming video, and a new Honda satellite-linked navigation system by Garmin. That model is priced from $40,260 and also adds a first-row 110-volt outlet, second-row HDMI outlet, two wireless headphones, and third-row sunshades.

The Odyssey Touring trim starts from $45,410 and features the new 10-speed automatic transmission, LED headlights and fog lights, CabinWatch, hands-free power tailgate, HondaVac, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, HondaLink subscription services, front and rear parking sensors, and body-colored side sills.

At the top of the range is the Odyssey Elite, which replaces the Touring Elite model. It has a price tag of $47,570 and adds 19-inch wheels and tires, heated steering wheel, wireless device charging, power folding side mirrors, LED interior accent lighting, additional cabin noise insulation, rain-sensing wipers, acoustic laminated rear door glass, gloss black exterior and interior trim, body-colored tailgate spoiler, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 550-watt, 11-speaker premium audio system.
