The 2018 Honda Odyssey also achieved a five-star overall rating in the NHTSA’s New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), scoring five stars in the frontal crash tests for driver and passenger, five stars for side crash tests for both front and rear seats and pole, and four stars in the rollover test.

“Odyssey was designed to keep everyone in the family happy, and helping to keep everyone safer is a crucial part of that mission,” said Ray Mikiciuk, assistant vice president of Honda Automobile Sales. “Honda’s goal of reaching a collision-free society includes safety improvements for each new generation of Odyssey without having to sacrifice minivan-first technologies like available Magic Slide Seat, which consumers have come to love.”
