2018 Acura MDX Price Increased by $150

Pricing for the 2018 Acura MDX will start from $45,175 including destination.

Getting a refresh for the 2017 model year, the Acura MDX sees minor changes this year. The biggest change is a new seven-inch capacitive touchscreen featuring a redesigned dual-screen user interface with more intuitive menus and command structures. Previously, the infotainment used a resistive touchscreen, so the capacitive unit offers a 30-percent faster response time, according to Acura. The system also includes support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Two new colors have been added to the lineup: Basque Red, which is available on base and Technology models, and San Merino Red on Advance trims.

Power continues to come from a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The luxury crossover comes standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available for $2,000 additional on all trim levels.

Fuel economy ranges depending on the trim level and drivetrain, with the standard front-wheel-drive MDX returning 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway for a 22-mpg combined rating. The entry-level SH-AWD model returns 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway for a 21-mpg combined rating.

Those looking for the 2018 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid will have to wait until this winter.
