2014-2016 Kia Cadenza Timing Chain Issue

2014-2016 Kia Cadenza Timing Chain Issue

AutoAfterWorld.COM

The problem:  Affected vehicles may exhibit a chatter or rattle noise coming from the engine at cold startup. The noise may be due to a slack timing chain hitting the inside of the timing chain case. This happens because of a faulty timing chain tensioner allowing too much chain slack, which in turn, allows the chain to hit the inside of the case.
