2014-2015 Mitsubishi Mirage Stalling Issue

Equipped with continuously variable automatic transmission and built before Jan. 19, 2015.

The problem: Due to a rich air-fuel ratio, the vehicle may stall at low engine speeds just prior to stopping or during idling when operating in high ambient temperatures. This could lead to positive crankcase ventilation hose disconnection.

Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the engine control module software to optimize the air-fuel ratio and eliminate the problem.

Warranty info: This repair is being done free of charge under the new-vehicle limited warranty.
