The problem: Drivers may notice that interior control switches and areas feel sticky to the touch. Affected switches and areas are the steering wheel controls, air-conditioning controls, radio control panel, luggage compartment release, center division trim panel, transmission control, rear console climate control switch pack, front and rear window switches, and front seat control switches. This is due to a clear lacquer coating peeling or the surfaces becoming sticky when exposed to high temperatures and/or humidity.
