2007-2009 Honda CR-V Locking Problems

Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

  • 2007 Honda CR-V
  • 2008 Honda CR-V
  • 2009 Honda CR-V

The problem: On these vehicles, the driver-side door lock will not lock and/or will cycle through lock and unlock when trying to unlock the door. When the door can’t be locked, it leaves the vehicle vulnerable to intrusion.

Corrective action: On affected vehicles, Honda dealers will inspect and replace the driver-side door lock.

Warranty info: On eligible vehicles, the repair will be covered under the provisions of this service campaign.
