There's a Widebody Ford F-150 Raptor in Japan

Apparently people weren’t joking when “Rocket Bunny all the things,” became a thing.

At the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon, the parent company of Rocket Bunny, Tra Kyoto, rolled out the Pandem Ford F-150 Raptor and it’s everything you would expect. Dropped low to the ground, the widebody Raptor probably isn’t going off-roading anytime soon, but it probably looks right at home at the Tokyo Auto Salon or even at SEMA in Las Vegas.

Like other Rocket Bunny creations, and to an extent Liberty Walk, widebody projects aren’t for everyone and we imagine this Ford F-150 Raptor is going to be pretty divisive. Especially considering the Raptor’s main goal in life is to go off-roading.

But we imagine the finished project will do its job of getting attention in Tokyo, especially being a pickup truck from America. In a country where tiny kei cars can be seen everywhere, large pickup trucks aren’t exactly the norm.

Don’t be surprised to see similar projects showing up at the 2018 SEMA Show too, since somehow everything manages to get a widebody kit for Las Vegas.
