Next Audi S6 Spied Testing for the Very First Time

A prototype for the upcoming Audi S6 has been spied turning in laps at the Nurburgring.

Our spy photographers have managed to catch the standard Audi A6 testing in the past, but this is the first time the high-performance S6 variant has been caught on camera. Unfortunately, like the Audi A6 before it, the Audi S6 is still heavily camouflaged, but we do get to see its sportier styling up front, larger wheels, lowered stance, and the quad exhaust tips coming out the rear. It’s also a safe bet that lurking behind those larger wheels are much bigger brakes to help handle the performance model’s additional power.

Under the hood, the new Audi S6 is expected to be powered by the same 2.9-liter V6 used in the Porsche Panamera 4S, where it delivers 440 horsepower. Power output should be similar, but we’ll know more when the Audi S6 makes its debut sometime late next year.
