2017 Lexus ES350 Recalled for Suspension Issue

Lexus has recalled approximately 1,760 ES350 models in the United States.

The recall is related to the right-hand side tie rod assembly, which may not have been installed properly during the build process. According to Lexus, in some cases over time, the driver may experience noise, or the vehicle can drift to the left or right while driving. It’s also possible the vehicle may experience a loss of steering control, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Lexus dealers will confirm the right-hand side tie rod lock nut is properly tightened on affected vehicles, and if the lock nut is loose, the dealer will replace the lock nut, the steering gear assembly, and the tie rod assembly with new ones at no cost to the customer.
