2016 Acura RLX Safety Ratings: Five Stars from NHTSA

2016 Acura RLX safety ratings have been announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The safety rating applies to both the standard RLX and RLX Sport Hybrid models, with the sedan earning five-star ratings in all six crash tests and a five-star rollover resistance rating. The RLX was also named a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Advanced safety features available on the 2016 Acura RLX include: Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation (new to the RLX), Blind Spot Information, Multi-View Rear Camera with Dynamic Guidelines and Cross Traffic Monitor, which is also new to the RLX.

Despite changes to the 2016 Acura RLX, the price remain unchanged compared to the 2015 model year, with the sedan starting from $55,370 including destination.
