Due to our preference for sedans and SUVs, North Americans are often times not offered the same stylish wagons that Europeans get, but Jaguar is bucking that trend with its new XF Sportbrake.
The U.S. spec XF Sportbrake will go on sale in the U.S. in November following a debut in Detroit next month. Jaguar made it clear the wagon would be bound for North America when it was first unveiled back in June, but now we know when customers can expect it to arrive at American and Canadian dealers.
The XF Sportbrake offers a bit more storage space than the XF sedan on which it’s based, boasting a 31.7-cu-ft void behind the second row of seats. If you fold the seats flat, the wagon has more than 60 cu-ft of space for your items. It’s powered by a 380 horsepower 3.0-liter supercharged V6, which enables a short 5.3-second 0 to 60 mph sprint. Jag also introduced some new tech for the XF lineup with the wagon including a gesture-controlled panoramic sunroof, a waterproof key fob, a cabin air ionization system and a driver fatigue monitoring system.

The XF Sportbrake will start at $71,445 in the U.S. including $995 in destination. A ‘First Edition’ model is also available and will start at $73,095 including destination.
