Audi is hard at work tuning its new RS5 and video footage has surfaced online of the car testing at the famous Nurburgring.
Posted on the Facebook page, we can see the new RS5 carving the corners of the famous German track, sporting a more aggressive face thanks to even more air intakes compared to the new Audi A5 and S5.
Under the hood is believed to be a new turbocharged V6 engine that uses electric turbos to put out around 500 horsepower. It is the same 3.0-liter unit that is in the Audi S5, where it makes 354 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. In the RS5 the engine will likely be paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Other upgrades to the RS5 include a new quad-tip exhuast setup and of course a more track-focused suspensnion setup to help this big car handle in the corners.
We expect the next-generation RS5 to arrive in 2017, likely at the Geneva Motor Show.
