One of the biggest racing events of the year is taking place this weekend.
The annual Nurburgring 24 Hours race is one of the most grueling endurance races in all of motorsports, and this year’s event is already heating up. Porsche is campaigning six fresh 911 GT3 Rs in this year’s race, while Mercedes-AMG will look to defend its crown after last year’s victory. Expect to see plenty of entries from Audi and BMW as well, but you can’t rule out other automakers including Bentley, Nissan, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin. Eyes will also be on the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus race car, especially after all the recent comments James Glickenhaus has been making following Lamborghini’s Nurburgring record with the Huracan Performante.

If exotics and expensive cars aren’t your taste, you can keep your eye on Subaru and Toyota as both will have entries this year. We’ll be keeping an eye on the Hyundai i20 N as it continues its testing program by competing in the Nurburgring 24 Hours.
