Holden has exported the final SS sedan to the U.S.
The automaker confirmed the news to , and Holden is now officially winding down production in Adelaide as it gets ready to shutter the doors in October. The final Chevrolet SS sedan to roll off the assembly line was finished in black and featured a six-speed manual transmission. To make it a bit special, the customer who purchased the car requested that Holden manufacturing employees sign the engine bay and they happily agreed, putting their signatures under the hood and on the deck lid carpets.

In total, Holden exported 12,953 Chevrolet SS sedans to the U.S., along with 7,305 Chevrolet Caprice Police Pursuit Vehicles. Unfortunately the American automaker has no plans of replacing the sports sedan.
