The Subaru Ascent has been spied testing.
Wearing plenty of camouflage, the Subaru Ascent three-row crossover is basically the production version of the Viziv-7 Concept that debuted at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show.
Like other Subaru concept-to-production vehicles, the Ascent will have its styling toned down, but the front end looks to be heavily inspired by the Viziv-7. At the time of the concept’s debut, the Japanese automaker confirmed the production version will be the biggest vehicle Subaru has ever built, riding on the company’s new platform.
The concept measures 204.7-inches long, 79.9-inches wide and 73.2-inches tall, while riding on a 117.7-inch wheelbase.

There’s a possibility the production Subaru Ascent could debut as soon as the 2017 New York Auto Show next month. But if it doesn’t, it should bow this year since Subaru has already confirmed it will head to dealerships in North America by early 2018.
