It’s just one photo for now, but it sure looks like the real deal.

After months of teasing us with videos and small tidbits of information, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will finally debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show this week. But like most major debuts, someone on the internet has managed to get their hands on a photo of what appears to be the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon on the drag strip, which is in line with all the marketing materials Dodge has put out so far for the car. Of course nothing is official until it’s properly unveiled, but it’s more than likely this is the real deal.

2017 New York Auto Show Coverage

With all the teaser videos and images Dodge has released, there aren’t any real surprises on the Demon. There’s wider fenders, a massive hood scoop and Demon badges, but nothing too wild. It also does resemble the mules that spy photographers have caught testing, as well as what has appeared on promotional  videos.

Unfortunately official specifications won’t come until the car is properly introduced in New York. But expect more than 707 horsepower, which is what the Hellcat offers, plus a collection of other modifications including an upgraded cooling system, 100-octane capability and more. The American automaker is focused on making the Demon appear like a quarter-mile monster and hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.
