The Ram 1500 Sublime and Ram Rebel Blue Streak will bow at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
Both are new option packages that aim to strengthen Ram’s factory-custom trend and color palette, with the Ram 1500 Sublime Sport offering a bold new green monochromatic exterior with body-color grille. The 2017 Ram 1500 Sublime Sport also features a Sport performance hood with black wheels, black Ram’s head grille badge, black tailgate badge and black body-side badges. For two-wheel-drive models, large 22-inch black aluminum wheels are available for the first time, while 20-inch wheels are available on the four-wheel-drive models.
On the inside, the pickup boasts Lime Green accent stitching throughout the cabin, accent-color Ram’s head embroidery on the headrests and sport mesh seat inserts. There’s also a Lime Green Sport badge prominently placed on the glove box door. Minor interior details include anodized black-painted spears and trim rings.
The 2017 Ram 1500 Sublime Sport will be limited to 3,000 units and is available on Crew Cab V8 models with a starting MSRP of $47,135 including destination and will start arriving dealerships next month.
2017 New York Auto Show Coverage
Contrasting the Ram 1500 Sublime Sport is the more subtle Ram Rebel Blue Streak. In addition to the body color, the truck can be ordered with the Rebel Black appearance package, which adds a black-decaled performance hood, black wheels, black grille, black brush guard and black badging. Available as an option is two-tone black lower paint.
The cabin features black anodized bezels on the doors, center console, instrument panel and gauge cluster trim rings. Optional all-black leather seats are available to replace Radar Red seats, and include black embroidery. Slate Gray accent stitching can be found tracing the instrument panel, center console lid, doors and seats.
The Blue Streak is available on all Rebel configurations and options at no extra charge and will arrive dealerships in May 2017. The 2017 Ram Rebel starts from $46,490.
