Packing 575 horsepower, the Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept made a statement at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show.
Originally unveiled in September at the State Fair of Texas, the Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept made its public auto show debut in Los Angeles last week. Powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, the pickup concept packs 575 horsepower paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
To make it ready for off-roading, Ram outfitted the TRX Concept with a BorgWarner 44-45 transfer case, custom CV half-shafts, aggressive 37-inch tires, beadlock wheels and a Dynatrac Pro 60 axle in the rear with an electric locker. Suspension travel has been increased by 40 percent, while overall front- and rear-wheel travel has jumped to over 13 inches.

The big question is whether Ram will put the TRX Concept into production, giving the brand a competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor.
