Lexus is putting a huge focus on crossovers and SUVs, and its next new production model could be the UX at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Although unconfirmed, rumor has it the Lexus UX could bow in March at Geneva, giving the luxury brand a baby crossover. First previewed by the UX Concept at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the production UX is believed to ride on the same underpinnings as the Toyota C-HR. In May 2017, Lexus confirmed the UX was heading to production and at the time, Lexus International executive vice president Yoshihiro Sawa said “it’s not so far away.”

Lexus hasn’t really been shy about how it regrets focusing on two-door sports cars like the RC and LC, instead of crossovers and SUVs. But since the RC and LC have arrived, the brand has finally added a three-row RX variant and more recently debuted the LF-1 Limitless Concept that previews a future flagship SUV.
If the production UX is set to bow in Geneva, expect to see some teasers in the coming weeks along with confirmation.
