Which of these coupes is better? Which one would you rather own?
The fact that we can even mention in the same sentence as is a testament to how engaging and well-engineered this Chevy is. In fact, it’s lighter, tighter, better looking and more fun than its predecessor. Talk about progress!
And of course, it’s crazy fast. In SS trim it features a 6.2-liter small block that’s good for 455 horsepower and the same amount of torque. It can be paired with either an eight-speed automatic gearbox or a six-ratio manual with automatic rev-matching.
As for the BMW, it’s powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that delivers 425 horses and 406 lb-ft of torque, respectable figures to be certain, though they fall far short of the Camaro’s fire-breathing V8. A six-speed manual or seven-ratio dual-clutch automatic are your two transmission choices.

Which of these high-performance coupes do YOU prefer? The BMW is a little more luxurious and refined, but the Camaro is more affordable and probably easier to maintain. This is a tough decision! If you need more help, please compare these cars right here for even more information about each of them.
