The new BMW 5 Series is set to be unveiled tomorrow, but photos have leaked onto the Internet ahead of time.

Looking more like a baby 7 Series rather than a larger 3 Series, the new BMW 5 Series sedan features a familiar and attractive design with a more aggressive front end than its predecessor. The headlights are sleeker and slimmer, wrapping into the outer edge of the front kidney grille.

The grille itself has also been changed, with a more prominent and bolder design while the front bumper features large air intake openings and daytime running lights.

The rear end is where the resemblance to the 7 Series is more prominent, with the trunk featuring a subtle lip, further accented by long and slim tail lights. The leaked image shows a 540i model with trapezoidal exhaust tips, often seen in high-end BMW models.

Inside, many of the high-tech features found in the 7 Series have found their way into the smaller sedan. That includes a similar center console with chrome elements and an LCD screen for infotainment.

Expect more information on the new BMW 5 Series once it’s officially introduced tomorrow.
