The 2017 Acura MDX will make its debut at the 2016 New York Auto Show with a dramatically new look.

Redesigned and re-engineered, the three-row luxury SUV will present its latest iteration with “substantial design enhancements, added luxury comfort and convenience features, and advanced new powertrain technology,” the Japanese automaker said. Expect it to be heavily influenced by the brand’s focus on “Precision Crafted Performance,” which is evident by the teaser image showing the MDX sporting aggressive new body lines.

The Acura MDX is the best-selling, three-row luxury SUV of all time and is the brand’s best-selling SUV, with 50,000 units being delivered in each of the past three years. The 2017 Acura MDX was designed by the Acura Design Studio in Torrance, California, and will continue to be produced at the automaker’s plant in Lincoln, Alabama. Acura also announced that in early 2017, an additional production line for the MDX will be added to its East Liberty, Ohio, plant.
